This project contemplates a deep analysis of the factors contributing for the deficit in the Portuguese trade balance of medical products, with special focus on these materials’ production and purchase. This work project’s objective is to create strategic and practical guidelines in tended to be implemented by regulatory institutions and by the demand and supply sides of the medical products’ market, in a national effort to increase exports and decrease imports. In that sense, recommendations on public purchases, medical materials usage, product quality enhancement and investment attraction a relisted ,to get her with the suggestion of a framework for supplier-buyer collaboration
