Initiated by the Industrial revolution of the 19thcentury, Globalization has always fascinated. Financial crisis of 2008 marked a turning point in Globalization its history. Since then, and all-around EU, more and more voices are rising to denounce its limitations on societies, culture, and environment, changing the course of this globalized momentum. Accelerated by COVID-19, the reversal of Globalization or De globalization is generating more awareness, provoking social events and therefore, influencing new consuming habits. This first section aims to present the evolution of Globalization through the different world economic development phases and the impact of those changes on consumers trends.
