This report is part of an Equity Research Report for AB InBev. First, a BUY recommendation for investors is given. The optimistic view on AB InBev is mainly based on its deleveraging strategy in order to return to a sustainable capital structure of Net Debt/Equity of 118.00% (pre-SABMiller acquisition level). Further, the shareholders’ return is driven by addressing the main beer market trends (premiumization, preference shifting, legalization of cannabis) through the expansion in to growing segments. The market leader is expected to benefit from the global trends by focusing on premium brands and expanding into new categories such as craft beer. AB InBev’s business in its different regions is analyzed and forecasted based on the drivers for the specific markets.
