A comunicação de ciência é cada vez mais importante para o desenvolvimento da sociedade e para a evolução da própria ciência. A missão do comunicador de ciência a nível institucional passa por ajudar o investigador da sua instituição a chegar até aos media. O presente relatório de estágio tem como objetivo demonstrar a importância da comunicação online que é feita nos laboratórios de investigação experimental, em particular no iNOVA Media Lab, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Os resultados revelam que é importante estas organizações aproveitarem de forma inteligente as dinâmicas das plataformas digitais, de forma a aproximar a sociedade ao investigador e ao mesmo tempo estabelecer uma relação entre Media e Academia. Isso irá permitir correntes desenvolvimentos para educação, ciência e tecnologia; desenvolvimento da cidadania; valor económico e social – através da transmissão de literacia científica, que, aliada à cultura científica irá beneficiar, envolver e mover cidadãos de forma global.
Science Communication is increasingly important for the development of society and for the evolution of science itself. The mission of the science communicator at the institutional level is to help the researcher at your institution reach the media. This internship report aims to demonstrate the importance of online communication that is carried out in experimental research laboratories, in particular, at iNOVA Media Lab, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The results reveal that: it is important for these organizations to make intelligent use of the dynamics of digital platforms in order to bring society to the researcher and at the same time establish a relationship between Media and Academy. This will allow current developments of education, science, and technology; citizenship development; economic and social value- through the transmission of scientific literacy, which, combined with scientific culture, will benefit, involve, and move citizens in a global way.
