Resumo(s)
This paper summarizes a field study on Portuguese a non-profit animal welfare association which I have executed in the form of a management consulting project. The fieldwork carried on the organization’s operations enabled me to frame their current business model, identify the association’s status, and their pressing issues. In the report, I investigate the animal philanthropy area and study the existing literature regarding the approaches to NPO management which I apply to the described case. I conclude with a compilation of tailored recommendations which should facilitate augmented efficiency and further development of the organization.
