Este relatório de estágio apresenta o meu trabalho realizado no âmbito da componente não-lectiva do mestrado em arqueologia na NOVA-FCSH, o qual foi efectuado em regime de estágio no Centro de Arqueologia de Lisboa (CAL). Foca-se no estudo e levantamento da situação actual dos fornos de cal na zona do Rio Seco, na Ajuda, uma área atualmente em desenvolvimento e que pode assim beneficiar de trabalhos arqueológicos de identificação, documentação e valorização do património. O presente estágio foi então focado nos fornos de cal desse local, mas enquadrados também no contexto da produção de cal na zona ocidental de Lisboa, incluindo uma identificação de outras ocorrências de fornos de cal nesse território
This internship report presents the work elaborated for the requirements of attainment of a masters degree in archaeology at NOVA-FCSH, an internship which took place at the Center of Archaeology of Lisbon. As such, this research, which consisted in the study of the lime kilns in Rio Seco, Ajuda, an area growing in recognition of its archaeological importance, aimed to identify these sites, to document them and then safeguard them. The current internship focuses however not only on the lime kilns of that particular area, but tries to also encompass the identification of other lime production sites on the western part of Lisbon.
