Durante a última década do século XX, existiram alterações relevantes no
território da atual freguesia do Parque das Nações, com repercussões significativas, quer
na capital, Lisboa, quer em Portugal. As fotografias apresentadas na componente prática
deste trabalho que documentam a dimensão do processo de requalificação, no período
entre 1994 e 1995, procuram apoiar as questões mais pertinentes sobre Fotografia e
Memória abordadas na vertente teórica do mesmo, no qual se enunciam as questões
essenciais das suas existência e importância.
There were significant changes in the present territory delimitation of Parque das Nações during the last decade of the twentieth century. The repercussions of such changes in the capital – Lisboa – and Portugal were significant. The photographs presented in the practical component of this work document the size of the requalification process between 1994 and 1995, while seeking to support the most pertinent questions about Photography and Memory. The proposed questions approached in the theoretical section aim to set out the essential issues of its existence and importance.
