Este relatório é o resultado do estágio curricular de mestrado em Edição de Texto
realizado na Biblioteca Pública e Arquivo Regional de Ponta Delgada desde o dia 1 de
outubro de 2019 até ao dia 31 de dezembro do mesmo ano. Está dividido em cinco
capítulos: o primeiro é sobre a instituição; o segundo explora uma das principais
funções do estágio, a reedição do romance Os Xailes Negros no âmbito da
comemoração do centenário de nascimento do seu autor, José de Almeida Pavão; o
terceiro foca-se na exposição organizada em homenagem ao escritor do romance
mencionado; o quarto analisa a importância de plataformas online como o blog na
criação de hábitos de leitura; o quinto apresenta considerações finais.
This report is the result of an internship held at Biblioteca Pública e Arquivo Regional de Ponta Delgada from the period of October 1st 2019 to December 31st of that same year for the completion of a Master’s degree in Editing. This report consists of 5 chapters: the first chapter is about the institution; the second one explores one of the main tasks of the internship, the re-edition of José de Almeida Pavão’s novel Os Xailes Negros, as part of the celebration of the centenary of the author’s date of birth; the third focuses on the exhibition organized in honor of the aforementioned author; the fourth analyzes the importance of online platforms such as the blog in encouraging reading habits; the fifth presents final considerations.
