How should a car manufacturer beneficially manage its car-sharing fleet? This work project answers this question by (i) analyzing the car-sharing market, (ii) studying the present opportunities and challenges in the car-sharing industry for car manufacturers, and (iii) analyzing current and future mobility trends. It concludesthat there are several options foroperatinga car-sharing fleet successfullyand provides recommendations for operators.Nonetheless, it mustbe noted that the car-sharing sector is significantly competitive and fast-changing,which makes it challenging to operate.
