Este trabalho analisa as características editoriais dos principais segmentos informativos da SIC nos últimos 20 anos, com base nos anos de 1998 e 2018.
Para responder a este objetivo optou-se por uma metodologia mista, integrando uma análise de conteúdo comparativa e entrevistas a jornalistas da redação da SIC. A análise de conteúdo foi feita sobre duas semanas artificialmente construídas (em 1998 e 2018) em relação a edições do Primeiro Jornal e o Jornal da Noite, procurando explorar o alinhamento, o tempo de emissão, a editoria, entre outras variáveis. O trabalho traça os perfis destes dois segmentos informativos e faz uma análise comparativa em relação ao ano de emissão e à própria natureza de cada segmento informativo.
A investigação conclui que nos últimos 20 anos registam-se diferenças significativas em relação ao tempo de emissão, mas não no que respeita às características editoriais
This paper analyzes the editorial characteristics of the main information segments of SIC in the last 20 years, based on the years 1998 and 2018. To answer this objective, was chosen a mixed methodology, integrating a comparative content analysis and interviews to the SIC journalists. The content analysis was made over two artificially constructed weeks (in 1998 and 2018) in relation to editions of the Primeiro Jornal and the Jornal da Noite, seeking to explore the alignment, the broadcasting time, the editorial, among other variables. The work traces the profiles of these two informative segments and makes a comparative analysis in relation to the year of issue and the nature of each informative segment. The investigation concludes that in the last 20 years there have been significant differences in relation to the broadcasting time, but not in terms of editorial characteristics
