Terra Sonâmbula é uma das obras mais destacadas do autor moçambicano Mia Couto. Neste trabalho vamos tentar enquadrar o contexto histórico da publicação do romance e analisar o tema dos contos nesta obra e também na sua outra obra Cada Homem é uma raça. As palavras que nos chamam mais a atenção nas duas obras são: identidade, sonho, memória, contos, morte, tristeza. Tentaremos interpretar as intenções do autor ao usar uma linguagem tão específica mas muito comum em autores africanos.
Terra Sonâmbula is one of the most outstanding works of Mozambican author Mia Couto. In this work we will try to frame the historical context of the novel and to analyze the themes of the tales in this book, and also to refer to his other work Cada Homem é uma raça. The words that call more attention to us in both works are identity, dream, memory, tales, death, sadness. We will try to interpret the intentions of the author as he uses such a specific language which is very common in African authors.
