| dc.description.abstract | This study outlines a policy framework to foster economic diversification in oil-dependent Angola. Drawing insights from stakeholder interviews and successful diversification strategies in other nations, the paper suggests bolstering Angola's simple Agri-industrial sector through: (i) creating a specialized agency for product development; (ii) enhancing educational partnerships to build human capital; (iii) promoting cooperatives for better collaboration and knowledge transfer; and (iv) redefining the state's role to encourage investment and growth. This strategy seeks to facilitate quick, tangible economic shifts, steering Angola towards sustainable growth with reduced reliance on its oil sector. | eng |
