This report aims to describe the Supervised Teaching Practice carried out during the academic year 2022/23, as part of the Master's degree in Teaching Philosophy at Secondary Education level, at Escola Secundária de Casquilhos, located in Barreiro. The first part intends to give an account of this practice, beginning with a description of the School, the Training Core, and the class groups involved, one from the 10th grade and another from the 11th grade. We then move on to the planning, teaching, and assessment activities conducted, and conclude this first part with two developed activities, the "Palestra de Filosofia Oriental " and the "15º Colóquio dos Jovens Filósofos". In the second part of the report, starting from the students' future perspectives, we will use three figures to analyze education and its political and philosophical presuppositions: the barbarian, the savage, and the cyborg, as well as their respective models and educational proposals. By integrating the first two figures into a humanist vision and the last into a post-humanist perspective, we propose the latter as the most suitable model for a current educational project, which is inclusive and prepares students for the challenges of the digital world. To this end, we will argue that, as today's student increasingly fits the cyborg profile, the public school, in order to meet the democratic aspirations found in the document, Perfil dos Alunos à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória, should consider the use of free software for the creation of its own educational project for free cyborgs, thus consolidating its public function.
