This work project presents a Case Study exploring Wine Master’s expansion dilemma, specifically the decision of whether to apply for a public tender that entails a strategic partnership with the Agriculture School in Lisbon and its implications for the company’s wine
tourism operations. The case study provides context around the situation, debating whether investing in Lisbon aligns with Wine Master’s strategic goals. The teaching note explores internal, debt, and equity financing options while assessing their strategic feasibility, risk
implications, and alignment with Wine Master’s growth philosophy. The Consulting Report investigates the status of Wine Master’s wine tourism units, identifying key challenges and providing recommendations for enhancing operations and ensuring long-term development.
