a norma ISO 19016.3.
The activity taking place in Aruda’s Air Liquide CMD site is related to hydraulic testing of compessed gas cylinders, obiding to the ISO norm 19016.3. this instalation, relying on work of excessively manual nature, for the current observed industral reality, counts on a lot of ineficiences rooted in the operation, unupdated equipments and with important functionalities missing, when compared to those comercialy available, by the manufac- turers. Aditionally, it’s patent the absence of catalogued production times, as well as the duration of individual tasks for different factors of variation. In order to develop correlations and significances, there were performed, during three months, observations and time measurements of the duration of different tasks. With the collected data, a statistical analysis took place and significance relations between different factors and levels were determined using the Kruskal-Wallis and Fischer test. Due to the impossibility of altering the site’s production plan, no DoE took place. Analyzing the data, one can conclude that the factor "Volume" is significant in tasks in every zone of the process. The factors "Client" and "Guard" are statistically significant for one task, each, in zones 2 and 4, respectively. The factor "collector" increases the number of tasks performed in zone 4, being, for that reason, an enhancer of the duration of the process as a whole. At the end of this work, solutions of different size and impact are proposed. These, if applied, will battle co-worker difficulties, as well as reduce the durations of different tasks, as their standard-deviation.
