Resumo(s)
The aim of this project is to analyse whether the construction of Penedo Ruivo wind farm represents a good or bad investment, when all costs and benefits are taken into account. Although there are many controversies concerning the Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) approach, it may be an essential tool for reaching an efficient decision in many cases. In the specific case of Penedo Ruivo, CBA shows not only the overvaluation of the financial analysis of project but also that the wind farm has a social benefit.
