dc.description.abstractThis equity research report provides a comprehensive analysis of Water Intelligence plc (WATR), a leading multinational provider of minimally invasive leak detection and remediation services for both potable and non-potable water. WATR operates as a platform company with two complementary subsidiaries: American Leak Detection, based in the US, which serves residential and commercial customers through a hybrid corporate-and-franchise model, and Water Intelligence International, which drives international expansion by offering specialized municipal water solutions. The analysis is structured around two primary components: a comprehensive evaluation of qualitative factors and a rigorous application of quantitative financial modeling methodologies. Together, these elements underpin the scope of the report, assessing Water WATR’s intrinsic value and supporting the formulation of a well-substantiated investment recommendation. This report specifically focuses on the quantitative financial modeling aspect, beginning with an outline of our forward expectations for the company’s key value drivers, which form the foundation for the employed valuation approaches, including Discounted Cash Flow, Adjusted Present Value, and Comparable Companies Analysis. Sensitivity and scenario analyses validate the robustness of these frameworks, resulting in a weighted target price of 682 GBp. Compared to the current share price of 410 GBp, this implies a 66% upside potential, reinforcing a strong BUY recommendation.
