This dissertation aims to investigate the Legal System of Covered Actions for Criminal Investigation and Prevention and its influence on the constitutional rights, freedoms and guarantees of the individual. Also mentioned are the mechanisms of the Criminal Police Organs and their intervention in covert or infiltrated actions. The figure of the provoking agent is also studied here in order to perceive the controversy of this agent. All this analysis are made through the collection, study and research of varied doctrine, national and international, as well as some jurisprudence.
Esta dissertação consiste na investigação do Regime Jurídico das Ações Encobertas para fins de Prevenção e Investigação Criminal e na sua influência nos direitos constitucionais, liberdades e garantias do indivíduo. São também mencionados os mecanismos dos Órgãos de Polícia Criminal e a sua intervenção em ações encobertas ou infiltradas. A figura do agente provocador é também aqui estudada, de forma a perceber a sua controvérsia. Estas análises são feitas através da recolha, estudo e pesquisa de variada doutrina, nacional e internacional, bem como alguma jurisprudência.
