resposta a possĆveis falhas. Normalmente o controlo destas cadeias Ć© realizado recorrendo
a mƩtodos manuais.
of Thingsā.
Nowadays, cold chains are very important in the conservation of several products (eg food and pharmaceuticals) as they allow us to prolong them for longer and in better conditions. To control these chains, automated data collection is necessary to provide a better and more efficient response to possible failures. Currently, the control of these chains is carried out using manual methods. Nowadays it is possible to use technology that takes into account the concept of the āinternet of thingsā. To revolutionize the management of cold chains, and to make the whole process more reliable, practical, and appropriate, it is necessary to monitor and obtain metrics automatically and in real-time. This work aims to develop a solution that uses new technological approaches to achieve the goal of managing a cold chain with a high degree of efficiency and reliability. For this purpose, sensors will be used to obtain temperature and humidity metrics from the refrigeration equipment, which will later be processed and analyzed through a data insertion component that will allow its normalization and consequent serialization in a specialized data repository. With this approach, we hope to be able to create a set of tools to support the management of a cold chain.
