| dc.description.abstract | This thesis introduces a new approach for business model innovation at the Rieckermann Group, focusing on strategic transformation and sustainability innovation. It explores how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), often limited by traditional models, can adopt more radical, sustainable business model innovation for competitive sustainability. Through an in-depth literature review, interviews with Rieckermann's management, and expert insights, it identifies practical challenges, key innovation drivers, and success factors. The research offers SMEs, particularly family-owned ones, a tailored framework to navigate market shifts, emphasizing sustainability, build an innovation culture, and adapt to new business models. | pt_PT |
