Inserido no âmbito da componente não letiva do Mestrado em Ciências da Linguagem, área de especialização em Consultoria e Revisão Linguística, este relatório contextualiza e descreve, de forma reflexiva, as aprendizagens retiradas do estágio curricular frequentado entre outubro e dezembro de 2022 na FCA PACTOR Editores, Lda. Num primeiro momento, será feito o enquadramento teórico, enfatizando a relevância da linguagem inclusiva no meio editorial, na perspetiva da revisão linguística, e das Ciências da Linguagem. De seguida, descreve-se a empresa que acolheu o estágio. Serão ainda relatadas as atividades realizadas no âmbito do estágio, como o acompanhamento da produção de um livro para a PACTOR, incluindo a revisão linguística e a edição. Por último, encontra-se uma série de propostas de revisão na perspetiva da linguagem inclusiva, suscetíveis de virem a ser utilizadas pela FCA PACTOR, nos documentos internos e nos sítios web.
Ao longo do relatório, serão analisados também alguns problemas linguísticos relacionados com o uso da linguagem inclusiva, no material utilizado no decurso das atividades e revisões efetuadas.
As part of the non-teaching component of the Master's Degree in Language Sciences, specialization area in Consulting and Language Revision, this report contextualizes and describes, in a reflexive way, the learning experiences from the internship carried out between October and December 2022 at FCA PACTOR Editores, Lda. First of all, a theoretical framework will be given on the relevance of inclusive language in the editorial environment, from the perspective of linguistic revision, and Language Sciences. Next, the company that hosted the internship will be described. We will also report on the activities carried out during the internship, such as supervising the production of a book for PACTOR, including linguistic revision and editing. Finally, there are a number of revision proposals from the perspective of inclusive language that may be used by FCA PACTOR, in internal documents and on websites. Throughout the report, some linguistic problems related to the use of inclusive language in the material used in the course of the activities and revisions made will also be analysed.
