As Tecnologias de Informação Geográfica na Promoção Turística do Concelho de Redondo

O presente trabalho de projeto consistiu na criação de aplicações para promoção e divulgação da oferta turística do Concelho de Redondo. Foram criadas duas storyMaps, uma para a divulgação turística do Concelho de Redondo e outra para a divulgação do evento das Ruas Floridas 2025 que se realizou de 2 a 10 de agosto no Concelho de Redondo. Todas as aplicações foram criadas em ambiente SIG com recurso a várias aplicações da ESRI, sendo possível a visualização das aplicações em computadores, tablets e smartphones. Este trabalho pretende, para além da divulgação turística do Concelho, demonstrar como as Tecnologias da Informação Geográfica podem ser muito úteis em diversas áreas, neste caso foram utilizadas na área do Turismo, com o intuito de reunir toda a informação turística do Concelho de Redondo que se encontra dispersa por vários sites, de modo a que o turista consiga, nesta aplicação, ter acesso a toda a informação necessária para planear a sua visita ao Concelho de Redondo. São aplicações dinâmicas e de fácil atualização, dando assim a garantia que a informação disponibilizada é a mais atual e fidedigna.
This project involved creating applications to promote and publicize the tourism offerings of the Municipality of Redondo. Two StoryMaps were created: one to promote tourism in the Municipality of Redondo and the other to publicize the 2025 Florida Streets event, which took place from August 2nd to 10th in the Municipality of Redondo. All applications were created in a GIS environment using various ESRI applications, allowing them to be viewed on computers, tablets, and smartphones. In addition to promoting tourism in the Municipality, this work aims to demonstrate how Geographic Information Technologies can be very useful in various areas. In this case, they were used in tourism, to bring together all the tourist information for the Municipality of Redondo, which is scattered across various websites, so that tourists can access all the information they need to plan their visit to the Municipality of Redondo through this application. These are dynamic and easy-to-update applications, ensuring that the information provided is the most up-to-date and reliable.
