This thesis explores the viability of implementing a Search Fund (SF) within Portugal's ornamental stone (OS) industry. Through a literature review, it assesses the challenges, opportunities, and advancements associated with Industry 4.0. Leveraging in-depth interviews with key industry stakeholders, it substantiates the potential efficacy of employing a Search Fund as a revitalization tool for Portugal's OS sector. The study constructs an investment memorandum aimed at securing funding and delineates a comprehensive business model
