Resumo(s)
Associated to the lack of young talents in the labour market, companies now face a fierce competition in attracting and retaining the best talents. The purpose of this paper is to measure the critical attributes that Portuguese young talents value most when they choose the first company to work for, and to determine how Deloitte Portugal is perceived by potential candidates, concerning the issues that are important for them. To achieve these goals a quantitative study was conducted and significant differences were found in some critical attributes between the students’ perceptions of Deloitte and their expectations regarding their ideal first job. Some recommendations were suggested in order to improve the Deloitte Employer Branding and the way it is communicated to this specific segment of young talents.
