Este relatório de projeto consiste numa compilação dos métodos e reflexões que foram necessários para o trabalho de tradução de Duecentomila de Kai Fig Taddei para português e
italiano. O projeto visa identificar, ao longo da peça inteira, em que língua cada personagem estaria a falar a cada momento, e a partir dessa interpretação, desenvolver a primeira tradução de Duecentomila, preparando-a para ser encenada em Portugal de forma inclusiva adequada a variados tipos de públicos. Através de uma proposta de encenação, pretende-se explorar de que modos a tradução, a dramaturgia e outras ferramentas específicas das artes cénicas (projeção, legendagem, cenário, figurinos, etc.) conseguem tornar os espetáculos mais acessíveis.
This project report consists of a compilation of the methods and reflections that were necessary for the work of translating Duecentomila by Kai Fig Taddei into Portuguese and Italian. The project aims to identify, throughout the entire play, in which language each character would be speaking at each moment, and from this interpretation, developing the first translation of Duecentomila, preparing it to be staged in Portugal in an inclusive way suitable for different types of audiences. Through a staging proposal, the aim is to explore how translation, dramaturgy and other specific tools of performing arts (projection, subtitling, scenery, costumes, etc.) can make shows more accessible.
