Este relatório descreve três meses de estágio curricular na editora Caleidoscópio, que decorreu entre 15 de Setembro de 2023 e 15 de Dezembro do mesmo ano, no âmbito da concretização da componente não lectiva do Mestrado em Edição de Texto. Serão não só descritas as actividades deste ínterim, como as expectativas, as dificuldades e aprendizagens mescladas com inevitáveis considerações. Abordar-se-ão as vantagens e desvantagens de trabalhar numa microeditora e o quão esse facto influenciou a minha visão sobre edição. Por fim, apresenta-se uma reflexão que procura ir ao encontro dos conhecimentos adquiridos na componente lectiva do curso.
This report describes a three-month curricular internship at the publishing house Caleidoscópio, which took place between September 15, 2023 and December 15 of the same year, as part of the non-teaching component of the Master's Degree in Text Editing. Not only will the activities in the meantime be described, but also the expectations, difficulties and lessons learned, mixed with inevitable considerations. The advantages and disadvantages of working in a smaller publishing house and how this has influenced my view of editing will be discussed. Finally, I'll present a reflection that seeks to draw on the knowledge acquired during the course's teaching component.
