This study examines the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and firm performance. Using a mixed-methods approach, it analyses STOXX 600 firms (2019–2023) through quantitative metrics (ROA, TQ) and industry experts through qualitative interviews. Quantitative results reveal significant impacts of environmental metrics on market valuation, while qualitative findings highlight industry expert insights. The research bridges theoretical frameworks and practical insights, emphasizing long-term strategies and stakeholder engagement to overcome challenges. This work offers actionable recommendations for firms seeking to enhance financial resilience and competitiveness through ESG integration.eng
