Resumo(s)
The automotive industry is undergoing a profound shift from combustion engines to electric vehicles, driven by regulatory pressure to reduce emissions and the need for innovative forms of mobility. This paper analyzes the electrification journey of the car manufacturer Ace within the Business in Practice simulation using a cross-functional analysis of the innovation, operations, and finance departments. In addition, a personal reflection addresses two noteworthy incidents that happened throughout the three-week simulation. While the analysis highlights the impact of innovation investments and capacity utilization on performance, the reflection underscores the importance of leadership and adaptability in team dynamics.
