| dc.description.abstract | Leaving behind years of astonishing growth, China was expected to become the world’s largest luxury market by 2025. These dynamics changed as the Chinese luxury sector declined in 2022 for the first time in five years. This thesis investigates the opportunities and threats in the Chinese luxury sector in the post-Covid-19 environment. For this purpose, the study comprises a thorough review of relevant literature complemented by an empirical investigation using a mixed-method research approach to deliver qualitative and quantitative findings. Drawing on the research findings, this paper outlines opportunities and threats within the Chinese luxury sector in the post-Covid-19 setting. | pt_PT |
