| dc.description.abstract | O presente relatório expressa os resultados do estágio curricular realizado entre outubro de 2020 e abril de 2021 na Embaixada de Portugal em Paris. Os principais objetivos do estágio foram a aplicação dos conhecimentos teóricos lecionados durante a componente letiva do referido Mestrado e o desempenho de funções de caráter profissional relevante. O estágio permitiu igualmente uma compreensão aprofundada do trabalho realizado numa Embaixada portuguesa na União Europeia, assim como o funcionamento da rede diplomática portuguesa. Este trabalho descreve todas as tarefas desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio curricular que, do ponto de vista científico foram desafiantes, e do ponto de vista prático, exigentes. Com recurso à relação histórica entre Portugal e França, o trabalho apresentado neste relatório tem como principal objetivo discutir os conceitos de Diplomacia Cultural e Soft Power enquanto elementos estruturantes daquela relação. Cumpre analisar, assim, o papel da Embaixada de Portugal em Paris, a importância da imigração portuguesa e francesa e, mais recentemente, a oportunidade que coloca a Temporada Portugal-França 2022, a ser organizada simultaneamente entre os dois países, sob a tutela dos Ministérios dos Negócios Estrangeiros e da Cultura de Portugal e França. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This report expresses the results of the internship carried out between October 2020 and April 2021 at the Portuguese Embassy in Paris, with the purpose of obtaining the master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations. The main objectives of the internship were the application of the theoretical knowledge taught during the teaching component of the Master and the execution of functions of relevant professional character. The internship also provided a deep understanding of the work carried out in a Portuguese Embassy in the European Union, as well as the functioning of the Portuguese diplomatic network. This paper describes all the tasks developed during the curricular internship, which, from the scientific point of view, were challenging and laborious, and from the practical point of view, demanding. Using the historical relationship between Portugal and France, the work presented in this report aims to discuss the concepts of Cultural Diplomacy and Soft Power as structural elements of that relationship. Therefore, we will analyze the role of the Portuguese Embassy in Paris, the importance of Portuguese and French immigration and, more recently, the opportunity posed by the Portugal-France 2022 Season, which will be organized simultaneously between the two countries, under the responsibility of the French and Portuguese’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture. | pt_PT |
