O presente relatório de estágio tem como principal objetivo descrever a experiência de estágio na empresa L10N Studio, Lda. que decorreu entre 6 de outubro de 2020 e 22 de janeiro de 2021, tendo início presencialmente no escritório da empresa e tendo terminando remotamente, em casa, devido à situação pandémica. Neste relatório será descrito como funciona uma empresa de tradução, tanto presencial como remotamente, as funções que o estagiário de tradução e os outros funcionários nela desempenham, e as ferramentas e métodos utilizados. Para além disso serão descritos alguns aspetos específicos do trabalho de tradução que se destacaram ao longo do estágio. Por fim é apresentada uma reflexão geral sobre o estágio de tradução, o ambiente da empresa, bem como as peculiaridades e influência do cliente no produto final.
The main objective of this internship report is to describe the internship experience at L10N Studio Lda. which took place between 6 October 2020 and 22 January 2021. This experience began at the company office, but due to the pandemic restrictions it ended at home. This report describes how a translation company operates, both in person and remotely, the tasks carried out by a translation trainee and other employees, and the tools and methods used. In addition, some specific aspects of the translation work that stood out throughout the internship will be described. Finally, a general consideration on the translation internship, the company's environment, as well as the peculiarities of the clients and their influence the final product will be presented.
