| dc.description.abstract | Job satisfaction is a core consideration of organizational studies. This study delves into the intricacies of job satisfaction on the leadership level, which has not been thoroughly examined yet. First, this work identifies three potential leadership role properties (autonomy, responsibility, accountability) and tests whether these are inherent to a leadership position. Next, these variables are tested with regards to their correlation with leader job satisfaction. Findings suggest that all three variables are in fact tied to leadership positions, however only autonomy seems to be correlated with job satisfaction. Thus, this work stresses the need for organizations to promote autonomous leadership. | pt_PT |
