This research investigates the role of Business Model Innovation (BMI) as a strategic tool for resilience and adaptability during crises, analyzing the differing approaches of SMEs and large enterprises. The following contribution specifically focuses on a qualitative analysis of how large enterprises leverage BMI to navigate external disruptions. Through expert interviews, this study provides insights into these organizations’ unique challenges and strategies, offering practical recommendations for enhancing resilience in crisis management. This work contributes to advancing the understanding of BMI as a critical tool, particularly within large-scale organizational structures.
