| dc.description.abstract | Projects are a vital element of our current economic development. Nevertheless, climate change is an increasingly present issue. Engagements for both countries and companies have been mandated to limit the impact of the current climate crisis. As projects are the main activities for companies, they are suitable candidates for the integration of sustainability concerns. Hence, this paper argues for integrating a project’s environmental impact into its success criteria. Three approaches are proposed: imposing environmental reporting requirements, incorporating sustainability into the current quality and scope success criteria, and tailoring project financing towards sustainability. | pt_PT |
