| dc.description.abstract | This master’sthesis analyzes the consensus between the academic literature and expert opinions on the topic of potential real-life applications of quantum computing in the healthcare, finance, mobility, energy, and cybersecurity industries. Literature-based scenarios are formulated and presented to the experts for revisions. Additionally, an end user perspective survey is conducted. The results reveal that the literature is more confident toward the role that quantum computing could play in technological innovation compared to the opinions expressed by experts. End users are excited for new technologies to emerge and are mostly not worried about the changes that quantum computing could bring. | pt_PT |
