Resumo(s)
This thesis explores the entrepreneurial journey behind Hubz, a community-driven coworking solution designed to address isolation and loneliness in remote work. The study validates the market need for flexible, homely workspaces that foster social connections among remote workers in Lisbon. The research employs a Lean Startup methodology, utilizing the Lean Business Model Canvas to iteratively refine Hubz's value proposition and business model. Through thematic analysis and the Double Diamond framework, the thesis identifies key
customer segments, including remote workers seeking social connections and homeowners looking to monetize their spaces and broaden their network. Validation of the concept was achieved through rapid prototyping and the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), which allowed for early user testing and feedback collection. The Build-Measure-Learn feedback loop was implemented to continuously iterate on the product based on user insights. Through this systematic approach to validation, Hubz demonstrates its potential to redefine remote workspaces, creating scalable, community-centered solutions that address modern workforce challenges while supporting social sustainability.
