In this work project we designand implement an information provision experiment to study how the public provision of business training and consulting services is perceived by firm owners in a Mozambique. We find that on average willingness to pay is higher for business training compared with consulting services. Information provision increases the likelihood of firms preferring private provision. Finally, firms in treatment groups were more likely to show no interest in the services offered and the information provision was not successful in eliciting interest, measured by a behavioural text positive response rate.pt_PT
