The study “All Eyes on Me: The Impact of CEO Narcissism on External and Internal CSR in an Institutional Context” acknowledges the CEOs’ organizational role and the influence of their characteristics in strategic decision-making. Based on the upper echelons and institutional theory, this research assessed the influence of CEO narcissism on external and internal CSR under consideration of the individual-level moderators of present and future focus and the national-level moderator of long-term orientation. While the significant positive relationship between CEO narcissism and external CSR was supported, no support was given for the remaining hypotheses, opening fruitful venues for future research.
