dc.description.abstractIAPMEI – Instituto de Apoio ás Pequenas e Médias Empresas e à Inovação recently created a corporate assistance department to accelerate the development of firms among world class SME’s (small and medium enterprises) and foster them to achieve strong positions in international markets. This work project was aimed at identifying what were the major needs of Portuguese SME’s and then define a service model that effectively answers them, having in consideration the scope of action of IAPMEI. I came up with a service design and process which manages to assess in a detailed manner what are the specific needs of a given firm and address them in an efficient but detailed manner.eng
