dc.description.abstractThis paper investigates the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the circular economy (CE), emphasizing one of the three core building blocks: optimizing circular business models. Highlighting CE as a sustainable alternative to the linear economy, the study develops a conceptual framework to underscore how various AI applications positively influence each business model innovation, promoting circularity. The framework aims to guide managers in transitioning to circular business models while sustaining a circular advantage with the help of AI. The study underscores AI's potential to drive innovation and efficiency, reshaping economic models in an environmentally conscious manner.pt_PT
