Water scarcity is a significant global challenge, impacting millions of people and entailing substantial economic costs. Although current solutions address some aspects of the problem, they often fail to provide complete and more affordable solutions. Here is BacteryAqua, a pioneering company ready to revolutionize water treatment with cutting-edge technology. Driven by innovation and sustainability, our approach is built upon the groundbreaking concept of utilizing bacteria, rather than electricity, to develop a novel method. This innovative technique leverages the principles of electrodialysis and Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC) to extract salt from water, harnessing the metabolic processes of microorganisms. Therefore, BacteryAqua represents a paradigm shift in the field of water treatment. Our market strategy comprises five key phases aimed at scaling our operations, expanding our customer base, and reducing production costs. We will initiate with a prototype, focusing on implementing our system in an existing context. Beginning with the installation of our innovative shower system solution at Praia do Guincho (Cascais, Portugal), powered entirely by our bacteria-based desalination system. Subsequently, we'll introduce an MVP at NOVA SBE (BacteryOne), and, in collaboration with Acciona, expand to offshore oil platforms, near-shore industrial facilities, and islands in Spain, and ultimately, pursue global expansion into coastal regions. Overall, we follow the clear goal of persuading and drawing in possible investors asking for €1.900,000 within the first three years of operations by showcasing BacteryAqua's opportunities and prospects for success in the sector.pt_PT
