| dc.description.abstract | The fashion industry, a global force with growth potential, faces sustainability conflicts due to its focus on fast fashion and short-term trends. To address this, implementing sustainable practices, such as a circular economy model and low-impact materials, is crucial. Influenced by digital platforms and social media, Generation Z seeks sustainable, high-quality fashion, but faces barriers like limited options, higher prices, and a lack of awareness. Additionally, streetwear fashion shapes the industry and sneaker market. This literature review explores the consumer demand for sustainable fashion and highlights the challenges in adopting sustainable practices within the fashion industry. | pt_PT |
