| dc.description.abstract | Escrevo a partir da experiência do meu corpo partido. Encontro o seu significado através da escrita e é desta forma que tento compreender o corpo no seu todo. Viver num corpo fora da norma é viver num corpo político. Um corpo que se obriga a manifestar contra as convenções, um corpo que existe pela sua unicidade. Penso que a reinvenção do conceito de corpo está na reformulação dos estados do corpo e na possibilidade da articulação de diversas perspectivas do corpo. Corpo que defendo ser uma paisagem que se encontra no lugar híbrido do questionamento. Enquanto conceitos operativos fui buscar o híbrido, o monstro, o corpo paradoxal, o corpo sem órgãos, pois considero que auxiliam na reflexão do corpo que desafia a norma, que deixam o corpo num lugar vazio, um lugar sem definições e sem guidelines. É através da discussão destes conceitos que procuro compreender o processo pelo qual o meu corpo de bailarina e acrobata passou quando se tornou deficiente. Este conjunto de reflexões surge da análise da reformulação a que fui obrigada, através da reconstrução física e concreta do meu corpo. | dc.description.abstract | I write from the experience of my broken body. I find its meaning through writing and this is how I try to understand the body as a whole. Living in a body outside the norm is to live in a political body. A body that forced itself to manifest against conventions, a body that exists by its uniqueness. I think that the reinvention of the concept of body lies in the reformulation of the states of the body and in the possibility of articulating different perspectives of the body. A body that I argue to be a landscape that is in the hybrid place of questioning. As operational concepts I have taken the hybrid, the monster, the paradoxical body, the body without organs, for consider that they help in the reflection of the body that defies the norm, that leave the body in an empty place, a place without definitions and without guidelines. It is through the discussion of these concepts that I try to understand the process that my body as a dancer and acrobat went through when it became disabled. This set of reflections arises from the analysis of the reformulation that I was forced to do, through the physical and concrete reconstruction of my body. The body that reaches this place of uncertainty, at a state of revolution and manifest. Still, I know that I will never really understand it. | pt_PT |
