T’hennai/Fica (Documentário) reflete a relação familiar entre a realizadora e a sua avó, num ambiente quotidiano íntimo, através de histórias acerca das estratégias matrimoniais na sociedade moura beidan da Mauritânia, desde os tempos de nomadismo até hoje. A autorreflexividade aqui presente na expectativa da avó em relação ao futuro da neta é articulada com a parte de escrita teórica de contextualização do tema, através do contributo de vários autores.
T'hennai/Stay (documentary film) reflects the relationship between the director and her grandmother, in a daily intimate environment, through stories of wedding strategies in Mauritania's beidan moorish society, from the times of nomadic life until today. The self-reflexivity present in the grandmother's expectation regarding her grandaughter's future is articulated with a theoretical text that contextualizes the theme through contributions of several authors.
