A atual situação rodoviária em Angola constitui uma grande preocupação para os órgãos
dirigentes. O número de acidentes rodoviários cresce a cada ano envolvendo pessoas com
idade produtiva. Segundo fontes oficiais, cerca de 80 % dos acidentes são causados devido à
condução sob influência de bebidas alcoólicas, que por sua vez podem atingir números mais
elevados quando associados a outros fatores como cívicos, financeiros, sociais, condições
rodoviárias e ambientais (Polícia Nacional de Angola, 2014). O presente estudo pretende
assim analisar a intenção dos condutores angolanos em adotar o comportamento de
conduzir sob o efeito de bebidas alcoólicas. Foram inquiridos 400 condutores angolanos,
com um questionário baseado na Teoria de Comportamento Planeado (TCP).

According to sources from the National Police of Angola, 80% of the road accidents were caused from driving under the influence of alcohol, which in turn can reach higher numbers when associated with other factors, such a civic, financial, social aspects, road and weather conditions (Polícia Nacional de Angola, 2014). The present study want to analyze the intention of the Angolan drivers to adopt the behavior of driving under the influence of alcohol. Were interviewed 400 Angolan drivers with a questionnaire based on the Theory Planned Behavior (TPB).
