A partir da realização do filme etnográfico Samynhé (2018) sobre arquivo fotográfico do grupo indígena Kariri-Xocó (Brasil), esta dissertação fará uma discussão acerca do processo imagético deste grupo a partir do dispositivo fotográfico. O arquivo faz parte do acervo do Ponto de Cultura Kariri-Xocó Horizonte Cirular, que busca preservar a memória coletiva dos Kariri-Xocó. Para isso, através do viés da antropologia audiovisual e de processos colaborativos, será feita uma investigação sobre estas imagens e os contextos sócio-culturais nos quais elas foram produzidas.
Through the making of the ethnographical film Samynhé (2018) which was executed using photographical archive from the indigenous group Kariri-Xocó (Brasil), this dissertation proposes a discussion on the process of imagery from using photographical devices. The archive is part of the collection from Ponto de Cultura Kariri-Xocó Horizonte Circular which aims to preserve the collective memories of the Kariri-Xocó group. In order to reach the objective of this essay an investigation of these images and the sociocultural context in which they were produced applying the bias of audio-visual anthropology and of collaborative processes.
