Este relatório de estágio curricular será apresentado como o último requisito para a obtenção de grau Mestre em Antropologia – Culturas Visuais na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, tendo como Orientadora a Professora Catarina Alves Costa, sendo que o estágio foi realizado na Videoteca – Arquivo Municipal de Lisboa, com a duração de 6 meses. O tema principal do presente relatório é o Arquivo Familiar e tem como questões principais: as razões que levam as pessoas a criar e guardar um arquivo, fotográfico ou fílmico; como é que estas o criam; qual a importância que este tem na transmissão e perpetuação das “estórias” e singularidades familiares; o que é que vai para esse arquivo; e, por fim, quais os “silêncios” e aquilo que não é “dito” numa alusão a quais as memórias que não é suposto serem transmitidas.
This curricular internship report will be presented as the last requisite for obtaining a Master's degree in Anthropology - Visual Cultures at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, with Professor Catarina Alves Costa as Advisor, in the Videoteca - Arquivo Municipal de Lisboa, with a duration of 6 months. The main theme of this report is the Family Archive and has as its main issues: the reasons that lead people to create and save a file, photographic or film; how do they create it; what importance they have in the transmission and perpetuation of family "stories" and singularities; what goes into that file; and, finally, what "silences" and what is not "said" in an allusion to which memories are not supposed to be transmitted.
