O presente trabalho procura analisar as políticas sociais de habitação implementadas em Portugal entre 1820 e 2015, no seu tríplice de habitação social, arrendamento e reabilitação. O estudo das políticas sociais de habitação assenta na sua desconstrução legislativa, de um ponto de vista holístico, histórico e cronológico, que pretende destacar os modelos e as tendências que se seguiram na variedade de orientações ideológicas que estiveram no poder ao longo dos dois séculos analisados. O debate sobre as repercussões no território, nas dimensões arquitectónica, morfológica, social e geográfica, foca-se na experiência consumada na paisagem urbana de Lisboa.
This study aims to analyze the social housing policies implemented in Portugal between 1820 and 2015, namely social housing, rental and urban renovation policies. The study is based on the interpretation of laws and regulations, from a holistic, historical and chronological point of view, which intends to highlight the trends that followed within the variety of ideological factions that were in power. The debate over the repercussions in the territory, in the architectural, morphological, social and geographical dimensions, focuses on the experience consummated in the urban landscape of Lisbon.
