O presente trabalho de projecto pretende reflectir sobre o papel do ensaio audiovisual
enquanto ferramenta de produção de novos discursos sobre o mundo, situando-o no campo
teórico da Antropologia das Culturas Visuais, dos Estudos Cinematográficos e dos Estudos
Críticos. A sua potencialidade discursiva será analisada à luz de cinco objectos visuais
produzidos durante a investigação (de Março de 2015 a Julho de 2016), análise que revela na
sua estrutura a relação crítica que foi criada com a matéria prima visual (imagens recolhidas
no mundo real e recolhidas no mundo virtual)
Revela-se um caminho epistémico individual, onde a ficção é assumida como plataforma,
conduzida pelo desejo.
This project aims to reflect on the role of the audiovisual essay as a tool to produce new discourses about the world, situating it within the theoretical fields of Anthropology of Visual Cultures, Film Studies and Critical Studies. Its discursive potential will be analyzed from the perspective of five visual objects produced throughout the research (from March 2015 to July 2016). The structure of the analysis shows the critical relation that has been developed with the visual raw material (i.e. images collected in the real world and images collected in the virtual world). An individual epistemic path is disclosed, where fiction is assumed as a platform driven by desire.
