Por meio desta tese, pretendo analisar as sete narrativas de Corpo de baile
(1956), de João Guimarães Rosa, como uma unidade, em acordo com o projeto original
idealizado pelo escritor. Nesse percurso analítico, seguirei os caminhos de leitura
propostos nos índices apresentados na abertura e no final dos dois volumes da primeira
edição e discutirei em que medida os dípticos memória-morte, infância-linguagem, mitonatureza
são recorrentes nas sete narrativas e de que maneira contribuem para a
experimentação e/ou revitalização da linguagem.
Through this thesis I intend to analyze the seven narratives of Corpo de baile (1956), by João Guimarães Rosa, as a unit, according to the original project created by the writer. In this analytical path, I will follow the reading paths proposed in the indexes presented at the opening and at the end of the two volumes of the first edition and will discuss to what extent the diptychs memory-death, childhood-language, myth-nature are recurrent in the seven narratives and how they contribute to the experimentation and/or revitalization of language.
